Our Ryokan is awesome. We were served breakfast both mornings. It was delicious and more than we could eat.
We had to take a train and then a shuttle to get here but so worth it. The place is called Adachi. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been too.

After arriving back in Matsue we took a little stroll up to Matsue castle. One of the few castles in Japan that is not rebuilt from being destroyed by fire or from WWII. It was quite impressive.
We kept running into these two ladies the entire day, so we got a photo of them.
Inside the castle. We couldn't wear our shoes inside which made these steep stairs challenging to navigate.
For dinner we stopped at this very small sushi restaurant. Very quaint with Japanese style tables. No shoes, sitting on the floor, perfect.
The chef gave us a bowl of clams.
Wow- such an amazing experience! We are enjoying it too, thanks for sharing:-)
