Today we leave Fukuoka and travel to Hiroshima. We are very sad to leave our friends but excited to finally ride on the Shinkansen. 
In Hiroshima we met up with Saeko and Junko. Our time with them was short but definitely enjoyed it.

For lunch we had okonomiyaki, this one had pork, shrimp and squid. It was so good. 
We also ordered some oysters. 
We visited the Peace Park in Hiroshima. Very beautiful and the museum was excellent.
After the park we traveled to Matsue and are staying two nights at a ryokan (Japanese Inn). This place is really awesome. We had to leave our shoes in the lobby and our provided sandals at the entrance of our room.

The ryokan also served us dinner. It was incredible especially since I got to eat much of Kim's food. I had to take two pictures since not all of it would fit in one.
