This a couple of pictures of our train ride from Matsue to Okayama and then to Kobe. Very cloudy and misty but still a beautiful ride.

Amazing fall colors
Manabu and Chiaka, our friends we met in Kobe and our guides for the day. They drove 3 hours to meet us. 
Nunobiki falls
Shabu shabu for dinner. Vegetables and meats are cooked in bowl on either side. Anything cooked in light side is dipped in sesame sauce or ponzu sauce before it is eaten. Anything cooked in darker side is dipped in egg before eaten.
oh my goodness...where is the Kobe steak??? I need to see real food for a change...a steak...please tell me that they have IHOP there? I would never make it...some of these pics make me ill...so sorry...just my personal spoiled American palet...speaking...I truly cannot visit Japan in this system of things...maybe in the New World...lol....dont let me bring you down...just dont like yucky food...:(
