Eating lunch in Hakata station at merry go round sushi restaurant. Different sushi plates move around the bar and you grab the one you would like to eat. Pictured by the chopsticks are the prices per color of plate so you can tell how much each one costs. Lots of options not available back in the states.
Some of the sushi I ate
This one looked interesting. A bunch of whole tiny little fish but it was extremely good.
This is squid. Had it before in the US but never raw. Also very good
This had a very strong flavor, not my favorite. Hayden thinks it is fish guts.
My kids loved these machines and they were everywhere. They are called capsule machines. You put in money and get a random toy.
Getting our first look at Fukuoka from the train station.
Fukuoka at night. Just a short walk from our hotel.
Canal City at night
Now it's getting serious. The hotel has a beer vending machine. Notice the little carry bags to hide your vices from other guest. I like this place!
For dinner we had Ramen at a food stall. Incredible experience. We sat next to someone vacationing from a city close to Mt Fuji. He was impressed with my chopsticks skills. Very nice people here in Japan.
The toilets here are so nice. The seats are heated, either that or I went right after Hayden. And I thought I wouldn't like bidets but they are great.
Our breakfast this morning at our hotel. So many choices and awesome coffee.

I don't I could have eaten any of that sushi. What is Kim eating
